LAWTON, Okla. – Cameron University softball head coach Dennis Furr has announced the signing of Yukon High school product Breley Webb to the 2019 Aggie squad.

Webb, an All-State left handed pitcher from Yukon, Okla., went 19-2 in the circle with a 2.20 ERA and also hit .432 with two homers as a senior. Those statistics earned her a spot on the Oklahoma Large School West All-State team in the fall of 2017. Webb has been a four year starter at Yukon High School and was also named a 6A Division All-District and All-Conference pitcher in 2016.

The senior left-hander also played for the Oklahoma Exclusive traveling team, where she put together a pair of solid seasons with ERA of under 2.5 and over 55 strikeouts in both 2015 and 2016. She also hit over .380 both years with a total of eight homers and 33 RBI.

Webb will be joining an already impressive pitching staff comprised of two All-LSC selections that led CU to a 32-20 record and the South Central Regional 2 Final in 2018. The Aggie arms posted a 2.74 ERA with 243 total strikeouts and a .269 opponents’ batting average. Cameron also set a program record with 12 shutouts this past season.
