Oklahoma’s Vernacular Architecture from the Easel of John Womack

Thursday, June 7 – Gallery opens at 6:30 PM. Program begins at 7:00 PM.
Museum of the Western Prairie, 1100 Memorial Drive.
Free and Open to the Public

Since his retirement as a professor in the School of Architecture at Oklahoma State University, John Womack has devoted his talents to creating intriguing images of vernacular structures across Oklahoma. The exhibition will feature these newer pieces along with pen-and-ink drawings from a Route 66 series he created in celebration of Oklahoma’s centennial. This event is hosted by the Western Trail Historical Society.
