It’s the National Day of the Cowboy celebration, an annual event held the fourth Saturday in July, at the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center. There’s live music from Allen Wooten and the Cowboys at Heart band, all day; children’s author Una Belle Townsend; and children’s games and art projects in the multipurpose room.

Special guests have been known to make an appearance (in the past we’ve had Minnie Pearl and Jesse the Cowgirl.
Come celebrate the cowboy lifestyle with us. Free Admission all day. Events held indoors. Please visit our website or our Facebook for updates on this and other events we host.

The mission of the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center is “To celebrate and perpetuate the history, art and culture of the Chisholm Trail, the American Cowboy and the American West.”
